My Inspiration:

“Hard work pays off.”

This is a quote I live by. We spend every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the weight room during the week. We also spend Tuesday and Thursdays in the gym doing yoga and then we play games against each other in volleyball. Me and my team work hard no matter what we do because we want to be as good as we can be. We dedicate our time for this sport because we have big future goals set for ourselves and our team. We are super excited and ready for our next volleyball season so we can dominate. This quote really inspires me and my team, also known as my family. We have a love and passion for this game and we will not ever give up on it. Players are going to play!

Players Play:

Saturday and Sunday are going to be very long days for me and my team. We will basically have no weekend. We all are going to be spending it doing what we love most, playing volleyball. On Saturday, we are all going to travel to Cape, about an hour and a half to spend our day playing volleyball at the Semo Rec Center. We are going to work extra hard to try and bring home a trophy. As we will be doing the same thing all day Sunday at a different place which is the Sportsplex. This is our favorite place to play at. We usually play really good in our tournaments. We have played about four tournaments so far and brought home trophies in two of them, but came so close and got third in the others. We have the most fun with each other when traveling to play ball. I love my team and I wish us nothing but good luck this weekend.

My Team’s Success:

Volleyball is a popular team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team’s court under organized rules. This is a game that can become very competitive and challenging. The rivals upon each other by close towns are interesting games to watch. The points that a team receives in a very competitive game is exciting. When we play a very exciting game against our rival down the road, we get excited for close games, but we really like to beat them. Throughout our volleyball season, we have a couple exciting games. Our last season a couple months ago we won approximately around twenty-two games. We lost some, but we learned from what we missed during that game. We found things to better and worked extra hard the next game to win.

Fam{ily} :

This is my team. The team that I’ve spent most of my time with. We have all played the sport we love most together ever since we were all young and in elementary. I could never imagine playing volleyball with another team. Each of these girls have been there with each other through everything. This game takes blood, sweats, and tears. We have all went down this road together. We’ve seen each other work hard, cry, sweat a whole lot, and even bleed some. From all the floor burns, jersey tears, knee pad rips, all the wins, loses, literally everything, we have been through it all together. These are my girls and we sure are going to cherish every moment we get to spend playing this game together because we never know when our last chance to step on the court will be. I have lots of love for my girls and the game we all play!

Does your feet hurt?

Many people have to wear certain brands of shoes when they play volleyball. Some shoes hurt your feet and some are just right to play in. People who have ankle problems may need a pair that secure their ankles as well, high tops or low ones. I wear a pair of Mizuno low top shoes, they have lasted me about three years. They fit my feet and allow me to wear my ankle wrapped without it bothering me. This picture shows a little about what my shoes look like. They are similar to these but not exactly the same as the ones showed. As a volleyball player, I’ve had several different pairs of volleyball shoes and I always choose the best pair that is comfortable to me and fitting. Not all players are comfortable with the same type of shoe. What shoe are you most comfortable wearing?

This Post Is Such A “Hit!”

This is another quote, a quote that means something to me. In order to succeed, you have to do things that is not comfortable to you as well as doing things that are comfortable to you. Progress means you have to step out of your comfort zone. Stepping out of your comfort zone isn’t always an easy thing to do. When you do this, it can help you when playing volleyball in many different ways. You may not be comfortable doing some of the things it takes to build your muscles stronger, but when you step out of you comfort zone and do these things it can help you win big! This is a quote that inspires me because I’ve actually stepped out of my comfort zone and made a lot of progress doing so! What inspires you?

My Moto:

This quote really means something to me. In order to win a volleyball game faster and easier. You need to play “smarter not harder.” Following these three things states will easily help you play better. Serving strong makes it harder for the other team to receive the ball back. Digging fierce can make it easier for your setter to get a good set to the hitter for the hitter to get an amazing hit. Spiking hard can make it harder for the other team to pick up the hit and it can help you gain more easier points. I follow these three things to help me become a better volleyball player and win ball games easier. What is a good quote that inspires you?

Nobody “Digs” Being Sick:

Here I am, back to my blogging. I’ve been really sick these past two days and haven’t even got the chance to be at school, so I haven’t really had to chance to blog yet. Yesterday we were suppose to have volleyball practice and since I wouldn’t have even been able to attend, it got canceled. Only four people out of the eight on my club ball team wasn’t infected with the stomach flu. It’s definitely been a rough couple days, but I’m back and feeling a tad bit better, but not much. Playing volleyball while being super sick would have sucked. We have a tournament Saturday and I am really hoping me and my teammates are feeling extra good so we can take some wins and make it to the championship for a trophy! Playing volleyball is way better than ever being down with the sickness.
